Accreditation

A world first sustainability accreditation on a mission to deliver benefits for people, planet and business.

What is Openly Accreditation?

Openly Accreditation introduces a new standard for corporate integrity, blending simplicity with rigour to complement existing sustainability/ESG reporting.

Corporations lodge a disclosure statement containing an assessment and an attestation. The assessment asks a series of questions referencing positions and guidance from the likes of the OECD, UN Global Compact, the UN Principles for Responsible Investment and the World Economic Forum. These questions relate to matters such as political donations, government contracts, lobbyists, conflicts of interest, foreign government ownership and advocacy positions.

How does the Openly Accreditation process work?

Application

Create an Openly Account.

Applicants answer a series of questions about their interactions with government over the previous twelve months.

Supporting documents may need to be uploaded along with an attestation by the applicant's board and/or managing director endorsing the validity of the information.

The assessment and attestation information is collated and submitted together as a disclosure statement.

Assessment and Payment

Openly’s experts will assess the disclosure statement.

Upon a positive review, the applicant will be asked to pay an accreditation fee.

Recognition

The successful applicant is recognised as an Openly accredited partner.

The disclosure statement is uploaded onto the Openly platform for public access.
